We are Seritag, an established start-up specialising in NFC tags (smart contactless labels and tags used in clothing, asset management, marketing and more).

Job responsibilities: Purchasing Assistant

This is a diverse and exciting position. The role includes :

  • Building a rapport with our suppliers and purchasing products
  • Finding, testing and positioning new products in our portfolio
  • Working with the sales team, providing quotes for new leads
  • Helping our marketing and PR teams with new product development
  • Keeping website product content up to date
  • Competitor analysis
  • Assisting with some financial and bookkeeping tasks

You will be busy.

This is a technical product and attention to detail is key. Some products might look the same but can be technically very different.

We collaborate with a fantastic array of forward-thinking brands in areas like smart clothing, web3, and the circular economy. No project is the same. Our customers are all around the world from different industries including retail, hospitality, food & drink, automotive and many more.

We are looking for someone who has completed a technical, scientific, mathematical or similar degree. This is a technical product, you need to be bright and willing enough to learn.

What we are looking for

  • Has superb attention to detail
  • Analytical and methodical
  • Great working with numbers, highly proficient on Excel
  • Organise your day / self-motivated and highly organised
  • Enjoys working closely in a small team
  • Can work with minimal supervision
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A graduate with a 2.1 or higher
  • Has previous professional work experience
