The University of East Anglia is an internationally renowned campus university located on the edge of the fine city of Norwich with award-winning facilities and a vibrant social life.
We pride ourselves on our interdisciplinary approach, which means students have the freedom and flexibility to choose course options they really enjoy and have a particular interest in.
The university and Norwich Research Park has the fourth greatest concentration of 'most highly cited researchers' in the UK after London, Cambridge and Oxford.
In the most recent Research Assessment Exercise, 87% of the university's research activity was deemed to be of international standing, and over 50% was rated as world leading or internationally excellent.

An ideal location
Built on 130 hectares of beautiful parkland on the outskirts of the historic city of Norwich, our campus is one of the most innovative in the country, combining natural beauty with architectural flair. The campus has won more than 20 architectural awards and ongoing multi-million pound investment continues to enhance teaching and research facilities.
A safe and friendly campus
Virtually no part of our campus is more than a few minutes' walk from anywhere else, and almost every student need is catered for on site - there's a large food shop, a newsagent, a post office, a bank, two launderettes, a pharmacy, a Waterstones bookshop, and even a travel agency.
A tradition of excellence
We have been in the top 10 for student satisfaction in the National Student Survey since it began and have twice won the Queen's Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education in recent years. We currently have externally-funded research projects worth over £100 million.
Interdisciplinarity and innovation
Most schools are interdisciplinary, so, for example, in the school of environmental sciences, atmospheric scientists, biologists, geographers, economists, ecologists and agronomists often work together on research projects.
Research groups frequently cross subject boundaries. Experts on the law, culture, politics and economics, for example, work closely together to explore all aspects of the media.
