Cloudreach is looking for two capable engineers to join its graduate fast-track program.
As a young and dynamic company you will be thrown in the deep-end, and be required to take on responsibility and develop skills quickly. During this time you will have the full support of the management team who bring 30 years of enterprise and Internet engineering experience. We are looking for engineers who are both capable of working with customers on customer facing projects, as well as on complex internal software development projects.
The core skills you will learn/develop on the program are:
- Java and Python programming languages
- Linux system administration
- Internet technologies (mail systems, domain name systems, web services)
- The programmable web (RESTful API integration)
- Virtualisation
- Google App Engine & Force.com
- Cloud computing technology
Responsibilities:
- To work within a service delivery team providing service to a number of different internal and external customers
- To develop new tools to facilitate the migration of customers to the cloud
- To use existing tools to carry out customer migrations
- To develop custom applications using Google App Engine, force.com and other applicable application engines
- To build strong loyalty within our distributed development team through social events and activities
- To develop and deploy in-house developed products to our customers
- To carry out systems integration work
Requirements:
- First or upper second class honours degree (BSc/BEng) or masters equivalent in Informatics, Engineering or Computer Sciences
- Some work experience required (1 year strongly preferred)
- Experience of at least one major programming language
- Interest in web hosting and systems administration
- Highly motivated and proactive
- A good planner and communicator
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
