Consultant biography - Liz Hagger

I have considerable experience over many years as a Careers Adviser in higher education, working at the following universities: Newcastle, Northumbria, Manchester Metropolitan, Bretton Hall College and Bradford College. My own background is A levels in French, German and English Literature with a first degree in Law and an MA in Guidance and Counselling. Before I focused on careers work, I worked in trustee banking and public relations in the gas industry. I’ve also run my own businesses in bed and breakfast, public relations and freelance careers research and writing.

I am very happy to deal with clients from any degree subject and background.

I have a particular interest in setting up in business, maximising the experience gained before their degree by mature graduates, the sources of advice and other help for disabled people and the issues concerning criminal convictions.
