Statement of service

About interactive careers and guidance services

  • Graduate Prospects' interactive advice service works according to the Matrix quality standards.
  • All of our career consultants are professionally qualified and highly experienced in working with HE students, graduates and professionals.
  • We may refer you to other sources of information or other agencies, where we think that such specialist help will be valuable. In all cases the responsibility is solely yours to take that action.
  • With Email a Careers Consultant, if you contact us on more than one occasion, we cannot respond. Each purchase entitles a graduate to submit queries once.
  • We will not market additional Prospects.ac.uk services and products without your express permission. As part of our client feedback procedures, we will ask you if we can contact you in future about new graduate initiatives at prospects.ac.uk.
  • If services are going to be unavailable for maintenance work, a message will be posted onto the website prior to this, informing graduate users of the date and time the website will be down.
  • We offer a range of online careers information, advice and guidance services geared towards current higher education students, whether undergraduate or postgraduate and also graduates up to ten years from graduation and aim to provide an effective, impartial and appropriate information and signposting service to our clients.
  • Our services are web-based, so we are accessible all year round, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.

Careers coaching for graduates - Prospects Professional

These services are open to graduates who are seeking work or study in the UK. The services are not available to those currently studying an Under Graduate course.

  • Email a careers consultant is a paid for service for graduates. Send your careers questions to our team of careers consultants.
  • CV/covering letter evaluation: purchase a full CV/covering letter evaluation from one of our career consultants, in relation to jobs/further study you are applying for.

We will always do our best to meet response times, but are particularly busy in the summer and around Christmas our staffing is reduced, so slight delays are possible.

International students should note the following:

  • We are not in a position to give any advice regarding the UK Border Agency's new 5-tier points based system for working in the UK or any other aspect of immigration law.
  • We do not offer an English language correction service.
  • Service is only open to those looking for work or study in the UK.

An administration fee of £5 will be charged to ineligable customers that purchase Prospects Professional services.

Services open to all students and graduates regardless of nationality or time of graduation.

  • What jobs would suit me: using our free online software, assess your skills, motivations and interests to generate ideas for your career direction.
