Applications for membership of HECSU (the Higher Education Careers Services Unit) are welcome from institutions providing higher education courses and from colleges, schools and sixth form colleges providing careers guidance to those students progressing to higher education.

HECSU is a charity whose commercial arm, Graduate Prospects, provides careers information and services to university careers advisory services, students, graduates, employers and others.

HECSU's mission is:

"The advancement of education of students and graduates of any establishment of higher education… by supporting and assisting the work of the careers advisory services…"
