Student Quote ...

"I couldn't have chosen a better place to study, both the people and the beautiful setting of the university.  The course gave me a good grounding in economics and provided the basic skills upon which the rest of my career has been built.  Members of the department were always encouraging and inspired me to take my economics further."

"I really like the fact that the teaching is very personal and you have more contact with the tutors at MA level.  The tutors are very approachable and I like being taught by active researchers.  I recently had the opportunity to do a research project and present the paper at the British Society of Criminology Conference in Huddersfield with one of the Professors, which was a fantastic experience."
