Leeds offers modularised postgraduate courses geared to the preparation of dentists for advancement in both clinical and academic specialities.

Programmes offered for commencement in October each year. Courses run for 2-3 years depending on subjects:

Master of Science in Clinical Dentistry (MScClinDent) – Two year Programme with direct recruitment in the specialist domains of Dental Public Health and Restorative Dentistry.

Professional Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) – This three year Programme of study allows candidates to receive clinical training and education alongside significant research activity. The Programme supports students undertaking full-time doctorate study in the following specialist domains: Dental Public Health, Orthodontics, Restorative Dentistry and Paediatric Dentistry.

Entry requirements: Postgraduate Experience equivalent to two
years full time clinical practice. English requirements for students
for whom English is not first language: IELTS 7.0 Overall not less
than 6.5 in every skill, TOEFL 600 (paper based) and 250
(computer based), 100 TOEFL iBT.
