Our world-leading research teams at the Optoelectronics Research Centre, are shaping the future, working with a wide range of industries to develop new technologies for communications, defence, manufacturing, healthcare, transport and the environment.

We are looking for the photonics pioneers of the future to join our vibrant research community with backgrounds in Physics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Chemistry.

To help you to kick start your career UK students are offered full funding including paid tuition fees and an enhanced tax-free bursary of up to £18K per year.
