By combining innovative thinking with advanced technology, Accenture is changing the way we live and work. It’s why they’ve grown to become one of the leading management consulting, technology services and outsourcing companies in the world today.
To Accenture, transforming some of the world’s best known businesses means helping clients get better at what they do. Accenture also transform careers, equipping people to learn, grow, innovate and inspire those around them.
Supporting clients to achieve higher performance really matters to Accenture people. As does, rising to challenges and grabbing opportunities with both hands.
And it could matter to you too.
Accenture Consulting Group (ACG)
From day one, Analysts focus on solving some of business’s most complex issues. It’s certainly challenging and, after two years or more of live project work, you will be more than ready to take the next step in your career.
You do not need a technical degree, but you do need a passion for technology, good commercial awareness and the ability to build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues alike. If you also have a 2:1 degree and 340 UCAS points then you are well on your way to a starting salary of £31,500, plus a £10,000 sign-on bonus in your first year and competitive benefits package.
Schemes, Internships and Industrial Placements in Consulting
Accenture has a world of placement opportunities so you can choose the one that suits you best. The Summer Vacation Scheme is eight weeks of intense training during which live work, real challenges and massive learning experiences await you. Their six and 12-month Industrial Placements, working as part of the team on live projects, are perfect for gaining a more in-depth view of their business. Alternatively, Accenture’s partnership with Teach First enables you to make your own important contribution to education in the UK before joining Accenture. Last, but not least, there is Boot Camp. Over 48 hours you will strengthen your business knowledge and challenge your mental agility. This is a popular scheme and, with only 35 places available, the first skill tested is your response time.
If you like what you see in any of these schemes or placements (excluding Boot Camp) and Accenture like you in return, you might walk away from one of them with a full time offer.
Accenture Technology Solutions (ATS)
Every second letter or package posted across the world is processed by Accenture systems. Makes you think doesn’t it? As part of Accenture’s global network of IT specialists and experts, developing, deploying and maintaining systems and software that improve business performance, you will be thinking innovatively every day. You will also be working alongside industry legends like Microsoft, Oracle, SAP and emerging market innovators. If you have a relevant degree and passion for innovation, Accenture will provide training that suits your skill-set and allows you to develop advanced skills in testing and technologies such as Java, Oracle, Agile iOs and SAP amongst others.
Industrial Placement in ATS
Within ATS, Accenture’s 12 month Industrial Placement will give you the opportunity to experience the thrill of seeing real-life solutions delivered before your eyes. You will be there for all the challenges, making an invaluable contribution to your team in the process. By the end of it, as well a year’s experience, you will possess the technical skills, business exposure and strategic understanding needed to work effectively in the real world. And, with new skills in testing and technologies such as SAP, Oracle, Javav/J2EE, C# and BEA Weblogic and a possible ICTTech certification, you never know - that world could be with Accenture.
