AkzoNobel is the largest global paint and coatings company and a major producer of specialty chemicals. We supply industries and consumers worldwide with innovative products and are passionate about developing sustainable answers for our customers.

Our portfolio includes well known brands such as Dulux, Sikkens, International and Eka. Headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, we are consistently ranked as one of the leaders in the area of sustainability. With operations in more than 80 countries, our 55,000 people around the world are committed to excellence and delivering Tomorrow’s Answers Today™.

If you want to join a business that has Dulux as a top 10 super brand and will challenge, develop and invest in you, as well as utilise your skills to change the world for the better - look no further than AkzoNobel. We are more than just the largest global paints and coatings company and a major producer of specialty chemicals. We supply industries worldwide with quality ingredients for life’s essentials. The likelihood is you will have used our products without even realising whether in toothpaste and medicines or food and packaging.

It’s vital we continue to innovate. Our Decorative Paints business has developed paint products that retain heat in winter, stay cool in summer, reflect light in dark areas, kill bacteria and are less damaging to the environment than ever before. As a business we offer so much to consumers across the globe and we can offer a lot to you too!

We’ve structured a quality development programme for high potential graduates which delivers extensive training and, where appropriate, the opportunity to gain external qualifications. From day one you’ll be on a programme designed to give you a broad understanding of the business. You will develop leadership skills and commercial awareness to challenge the norm as well as a network of contacts throughout the company. More importantly, you’ll work on business critical projects designed to give you the knowledge, support and challenging experiences to help you become a future business leader.

Join us and you could be developing new paint products that colour people’s lives and inspire spaces. Alternatively you could be working on one of our many sustainability projects to produce market leading products that reduce toxicity, energy use emissions and waste as well as increase use of natural resources and materials. You may find yourself analysing how we better utilise equipment across our many manufacturing sites, or implementing a heavyweight TV and press brand campaign with digital and PR support. Equally, you could be rolling up your sleeves and refurbishing a primary school or painting a shelter for vulnerable young people on one our Community Program projects.

Whatever you do you will be supported all the way by our mentor, buddy and graduate network schemes. Add to this training modules developed to build your competences and business skills within your first two years of joining us and you can begin to see why we’ve consistently been voted by graduates as a Guardian Top 300 Graduate Employer.

At AkzoNobel we are focused on ensuring employees are proud to be part of our business and customers are proud to do business with us. We are a business that is committed to delivering Tomorrow’s Answers Today™. Without us the world would be a much duller and different place. Join us - we can do so much together.
