We are looking for high potential engineering students with a fundamental interest in the oil business. Our ideal candidates will not only have excellent academic records and high analytical skills, but should also be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, leadership and team working abilities.

Essar Oil & Gas, a subsidiary of Essar Energy, is an end-to-end player in the oil & gas sector - from exploration to refining and retail. All its refineries are currently undergoing capacity enhancement through technology upgrades.
The Essar Oil (UK) Ltd refinery at Stanlow in Cheshire employs 1,000 people and processes up to 11 million tonnes of crude oil every year approximately 25,000 litres per minute. We produce around 4,000 million litres of petrol per year, covering one sixth of Britain's transport fuel needs. In addition, we also produce diesel, jet fuel,and other oil and chemical products.

Requirements
If you are studying an MEng degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, are on course for a 2.1 or above and are looking for hands-on experience at one of the UK's largest refineries, we want to hear from you.

We support our graduates in obtaining engineering charterships and provide mentoring throughout.
Summer internships are paid between £17,500 and £21,500 pro rata depending on year of study.
