About RWE npower

RWE npower is a leading integrated UK energy company and is part of the RWE Group, one of Europe's leading electricity and gas companies. We serve around 6.8 million customer accounts and produce around 8% of the electricity used in Great Britain.

We supply electricity and gas to residential and business customers and we operate and manage a flexible portfolio of coal, oil and gas-fired power stations with the capacity to generate around 10,000 MW. We also manage a portfolio of cogeneration plant.

In the UK, RWE is also at the forefront of producing energy through renewable sources. RWE npower renewables, part of RWE Innogy, leads the UK wind power market and are also leaders in hydroelectric generation.
