Summer Internships

If it’s just another summer job you’re after, this isn’t it. If it’s a rewarding challenge that sets you up for a great future, head this way.

Our 10-week internship will push you. But we’ll also give you real responsibility. As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll have lunchtime master classes, a buddy to look after you and a placement manager to provide structured feedback.

It’s a big ask, but lots of our interns flourish and come back on one of our graduate placements the following year.

We’ll look after you with a competitive reward package and paid-for accommodation in Edinburgh right in the middle of Festival season.

Entry requirements - You’ll be in your penultimate year and will be enthusiastic and motivated with a strong commitment to succeed. We expect the best and we offer the same in return.

All internships require that you are on track for achieving a First or a 2:1 degree at undergraduate level.

Location
Standard Life’s headquarters are in Edinburgh. Which means many of our vacancies are based here. However, our growing graduate programme could see vacancies further afield in Germany, Canada, Ireland or Hong Kong.
