Company profile

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in research and technology?

TWI is a world centre of excellence for materials and materials joining technology. Our engineers and scientists come from a wide range of disciplines, including mechanical, chemical and production engineering, physics, mathematics and materials science. They work with leading industrial companies and technical experts on a daily basis.

As graduate engineers you will be working in teams actively involved in:

  • Project management
  • Creative problem solving
  • Presenting information to clients
  • Developing new business

TWI strongly supports the professional and career development of its employees through internal and external training courses.

New graduates generally join TWI as Project Leaders, where a typical role will include managing client-confidential projects for a single client, as well as potential to contribute to TWI’s core research into all aspects of materials and joining technologies. The responsibility of the Project Leader follows from the first enquiry from the client, through to issuing the proposal, and then the final project delivery.
