Pole Emploi is the French national employment agency (the French equivalent of UK jobcentres) and European Union (EU) nationals may use its services on the same basis as French nationals. Visit the EURES - European Job Mobility Portal website for contact details of euro-advisers. EURES advisers are trained specialists who provide information and guidance to job seekers interested in working in a range of countries, including France.

SOS help is an English language telephone listening service (based in Paris), which has trained operators who will listen sympathetically to those in distress or feeling depressed.
