Award details
The University of Ulster is a dynamic and innovative institution, which is very proud of its excellent track record in the education and training of researchers. Our doctoral graduates can demonstrate outstanding achievements in advancing knowledge and making breakthroughs of relevance to the economic, social and cultural development of society.
Award purpose
To assist candidates of a high academic standard to complete research degrees (PhD).
Eligibility
Applicants must have or expect to obtain the minimum of an upper second class Honours degree in a specific research area (as advertised). Applications are invited from UK, European Union and overseas students. Only candidates who are new applicants to PhD will be eligible.
