Loughborough University's Schools of Engineering offer financial support to talented prospective PhD students wishing to pursue postgraduate research study. As a leader in research in the built environment, the School of Civil and Building Engineering has unique and wide-ranging research capabilities. We are therefore able to offer exciting and challenging research opportunities across the full range of built environment fields. Eligibility
There is always strong competition for our funding awards so students will need to hold or expect to gain at least a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate discipline with evidence of 1st class performance in key subject areas. Awards are available for UK/EU students.
