The School of Applied Sciences is recognised globally for its multidisciplinary approach to teaching and research in the key areas of manufacturing, materials, natural resources and sustainable systems. Our focus is on fundamental research and its application, together with teaching, to meet the needs of industry and society.
Award purpose
To stimulate industrial design capability among the country's most able science and engineering graduates.

Open to applicants with good first degree in engineering or science and an offer of a place on the MDes Innovation and Creativity in Industry at Cranfield.
