IT Application Consultant - £46k p.a. package in 6 months Customer Systems plc

Job description

Customer Systems is looking for exceptional graduates to train as IT Consultants.

After the initial training period, which is typically 4 to 8 weeks, we aim to get you involved in real customer projects.

The work typically involves:

• establishing customer requirements and working out the best way of implementing those requirements using the software packages in which we specialise (mainly Siebel and SAP CRM).
• configuring the software package to the customer's requirements, including some development of new software.
• transferring knowledge to the customer about the work that we have performed for them.

It is important that you are comfortable with the idea of a job that combines a lot of technical content with a high degree of customer interaction.      

Additional salary info:
If you join as a new or recent graduate, we start you on a package of £33k comprising a basic salary of £28k and a car allowance of £5,040 (or you can opt for a company car instead).

Within 6 months, assuming normal progress, you should be on a basic of at least £34k, plus a bonus of about £5,300, plus either a car allowance of £5,040 or a company car. On top of this, we make a contribution of up to 5% of basic salary on a matching basis into your own personal pension scheme. This makes a total package of at least £46k, and there is also a discretionary Christmas bonus in most years.

When you are on an assignment some distance from the office, then all accommodation and subsistence costs are covered.

Relocation allowances are available for people moving into the area.

Note that car allowance is paid conditional upon you providing and maintaining a car to business standards.

Qualification and experience requirements

• A good degree in a scientific/numerate subject from a reputable institution with at least a 2:1 or expectation thereof.
• Three serious A-Levels at grade A or B.
• Good programming skills. You need to have done enough to establish that you have a real flair for it.
