Information Technology 12-month Industrial Placement - Military Air & Information BAE Systems

Job description

To aid the Military Air & Information business transformation activities through understanding of business requirements and contribution to development and deployment of the solution with the support of key technical and business applications used to run Military Air & Information business.

Person requirements

We are looking recruit graduates and industrial placement students with the following knowledge into six roles:

• Adopts a structured, analytical and systematic approach to solving problems
• Whilst being given guidance on structure, provides quality work autonomously
• Ability to work across multiple functions both at high and low levels
• Self-motivated and motivates others keeping morale and performance high
• Ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure to meet deadlines and manage business expectations.
• Strong communication skills
• Practice business analysis techniques (SWOT etc.)
• Knowledge of common design processes (Waterfall, Agile etc.)
• Knowledge of programming principles

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Self motivated and motivates others keeping morale and performance high
• Ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure to meet deadlines and manage expectations.
• Experience in the use of formal structured methodologies and representation methods (eg UML and use cases).
• Contributes constructive ideas to assist in resolving project / work issues
• Adopts a highly structured, analytical and systematic approach to solving problems
• Whilst being given guidance on structure, provides high quality work autonomously
