Job description

Intern programme
What do you think about when you hear the name HP? Is it printers? Laptops? Maybe it's Beats Audio™? Most people do. It's understandable - these are our products people see every day. But what about the other sides to HP? The side that helps the MOD get a 3D view of a battlefield? The side that brings a kung fu panda to life or helps Paul McCartney keep track of his music? We're a multi-faceted company. Join one of our intern programmes and you'll see them all.

The Programme
Over 13 months, we'll use our resources and expertise to give you a real understanding of our global business. As part of our Sales, Marketing, Business or IT programmes, you'll have the chance to build on your university education.

Throughout the programme, you'll have regular training and one-to-one meetings with your manager. Working together, you'll set goals and plot your development. And with our open-plan offices and friendly working culture, you'll have the chance to learn from senior managers who can help you in your future career. Taking classroom theory into the real world, you'll be given your own role and work on live projects straight away. Wherever you join, we'll expect you give your insight and opinion, and make a real contribution every day.

If you like working with us and your work is impressive, like many of our successful interns, you could then go onto our graduate programme - and as a previous intern, you'll be fast-tracked through the application process.

To find out more about the programme, how to apply and details of our other graduate opportunities, visit www.hp.co.uk/jobs and search reference 1041712 for Sales, 1041715 for Marketing and 1041716 for IT.

Person requirements

You'll need to have completed your second year of your degree, be on course for a minimum 2:1 degree and have excellent MS Office skills. Proactive and positive, you'll be able to confidently communicate with people at all levels, problem solve and have an unwavering desire to learn.
