Fairview International School
Fairview International School, with over 2,500 students in four IB World Schools across Malaysia, represents over 55 different nations with pupils aged 3 to 17 offering all three IB programmes from the Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programme.
Fairview’s commitment to professional development, beyond trainings and workshops, at the most elemental level includes the Cambridge International Diploma for Teaching and Learning (CIDTL).
Fairview also serves as a research institute through the scholarship-only-entry Master of Arts (MA) in Education from Sheffield Hallam University, UK. Through this, teachers carry out data-driven research on IB best practice in teaching thereby advancing and contributing to the field of educational research. Furthermore, accomplished teachers seeking to be industry leaders progress towards a sponsored Doctor of Education (EdD).
Privileged to Fairview with only 14 universities in the world recognised by the IBO (as of 2015), graduates of our MA in Education are eligible to apply for the IB Professional Educator Certificate. This recognises teachers not just as IB practitioners but as an academic and researcher with the IBO.
