Job vacancy: Product Manager - Manchester

SALARY: £28-30k plus generous holiday entitlement and benefits package

About us

We are the UK’s leading graduate recruitment media owner, with forty years’ expertise in helping students and graduates enter the world of work and further study. We are looking for a Product Manager to work across the market-leading multimedia products and services in the Prospects portfolio.

About the role

The role requires an experienced marketing professional with a track record of product planning/implementation and new product development across multimedia platforms.

You will have responsibility for a number of products and will need strong project managements skills to deliver against specific key performance objectives and support the Senior Product Manager in delivering the product portfolio. 

In addition to being skilled in product management and financial analysis you will have the ability to develop a detailed understanding of competitor products and strategy, deliver existing products and bring new ones to market.

About you

Educated to degree level, ideally in business or marketing, and possessing excellent communication skills, you are enthusiastic, energetic and ambitious with:

• Significant experience of product planning and new product development
• Full marketing mix experience gained in B2B and B2C environments
• A proven track record in delivering multi-task projects to budget
• Sales forecasting experience
• Excellent business acumen and strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• The ability to build relationships at all levels

Commercial experience in higher education or publishing would be an advantage but is not essential.
