Job description

We encourage our graduate trainees to constantly question, take responsibility for business critical projects, be creative and most importantly take control of their career. We want people who not only have ideas, but the energy and determination to make them go far; people comfortable in an international environment and committed to finding solutions to the big challenges facing the world at large; people who will join us in striving for Tomorrow's Answers Today™.

Our Purchasing Graduate Development Programme will be tailored to meet your individual needs and aspirations. You will spend two years gaining experience in a wide range of real business activities; from supplier management and cost control to driving cost effectiveness through sourcing and category management. Constantly gaining exposure to senior management across the entire supply chain, where you'll be empowered to make crucial decisions and take ownership of high profile projects. You will be regularly involved in daily negotiations with suppliers to agree commercial arrangements and you could find yourself sourcing new suppliers ensuring who meet our sustainability, quality, service and pricing criteria. You may also collaborate with marketing teams to ensure suppliers are prepared for major promotions and re-brands across household names like Dulux and Sadolin.

Person requirements

To join us, you will need to be fluent in English and have recently graduated with a 2:1 or equivalent Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant subject, with a score of 85% in the Matura and at least 85% in 3 Advanced Level subjects (or equivalent). Work placement, or internship experience providing you with knowledge of companies and their processes would be an advantage and you will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal, project management and analytical skills.
