Job description

Placements
Our placement programme offers undergraduates a sandwich year with Capgemini that begins in the autumn and completes the following summer.

Over the course of the programme, you will gain exposure to a range of technology and business experiences. You will develop your team working and communications skills while working collaboratively on a variety of projects with clients and Capgemini colleagues. The latter could be anyone from new graduates to senior project sponsors.

Training includes a comprehensive induction, followed by soft skills development (covering management and personal development) and on-the-job skills training. Everything you need to launch your career in technology.

Don’t expect to be spoon-fed; we’ll encourage you to put yourself in the driving seat and to tailor your development according to your own ambitions and needs.

The placement programme enjoys a very close relationship with our technology graduate programme: so much so that some people on placements may be able to secure a position on our graduate programme without attending further assessment centres. (You will still need to get your degree though!)

A placement may either be in a fixed location or involve travel to a variety of clients’ locations throughout the UK.

We require undergraduate students to be on track for a 2:1 degree and have achieved CCC at A level (or equivalent).
