Experience Teaching Abroad invites you to apply for the TEFL Heaven Paid Internships. This exclusive program consists of a 3-weeks TEFL course and a guaranteed teaching job afterwards.

Before being introduced to the real world of teaching you take part in a 120-hour face-to-face TEFL course. The training is always hosted on either a paradise island or beach. You are trained in everything TEFL and come out with a full TEFL Certificate which qualifies you to teach anywhere in the world. On top of this, after the teaching placement you will have gained around 4 months' real teaching experience. With another 20 on each program, there is no end to making friends and exploring a new culture and country for 5 months or more.

After the TEFL course you launch into a guaranteed job, which can be anywhere in Thailand. Each teaching position can be just for one school term (typically 4.5 months per term) or more, depending on whether you decide to stay longer in Thailand. You get paid the rate of 25,000 Thai Baht (about 500 GBP) per month which is 3 times a local Thai teachers salary.

Teaching mainly in secondary school but with some primary school, college and language school placements, your working hours are approximately 35 hours per week with teaching hours being approximately 25 hours per week.

Qualification and experience requirements

To be eligible for the program you need a BA or Bsc in any subject at pass level. You do not need to speak fluent Thai to teach English as teaching is not done through the translation method. No work or travel experience needed.
