Job description

Jeremy Gardner Associates are one of the largest independent Fire Engineering Consultancies in Europe. Due to an expanding workload we are looking for Graduate Engineers and Senior Engineers to work in our Dublin, London and Edinburgh offices.

From day one, you’ll be working on some largest and most exciting new buildings in the UK and internationally – from residential and office buildings to shopping centres and airports. You’ll work with an experienced team on all aspects of fire engineering from structural fire resistance to modelling of smoke movement using Computational Fluid Dynamics. We are renowned for our innovation and technical excellence, and we will give you all the training you need to quickly take charge of your own projects.

Person requirements

You’ll need to show us enthusiasm, initiative and outstanding attention to technical detail, all in a fast paced and demanding environment. You’ll also need to build strong relationships with our clients so you’ll be a confident communicator, able to explain your ideas to different audiences. There is also an opportunity to work in our other offices across the UK and Ireland.

Qualification and experience requirements

To be considered for the role you will have or expect at least a 2:1 Masters degree in an Engineering field, but particularly in Fire, Mechanical or other related Engineering degree, or Physics. For the Senior Engineers role you will require at least 2 years post graduate experience working in the field of fire engineering.
