Key Objective
The Graduate trainee is an important role within the team. You’ll be managing the successful passage of TGI projects through the various departments in Kantar Media whilst ensuring the continuous improvement of TGI surveys and products.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Manage the successful passage of TGI projects through departments
- Deliver databases that provide clients with up to date insightful information on brand and media consumption and attitudes.
- Design and modify questionnaires and field documents
- Liaise with the TGI Client Service teams regarding potential changes and developments of questionnaires.
- Produce response analysis reports and recommend appropriate actions.
- Evaluation of data consistency and validity
- Monitoring and adhering to project schedules
- Assisting in the overall improvement and development of TGI Projects

TGI provides a network of syndicated single-source marketing and media studies that measure product and brand consumption, attitudes and media usage.
The TGI Surveys unit is at the front end of the TGI product, with responsibility for the project management of the surveys. The unit offers a wide variety of services, ranging from question formulation and design through to new product development - using digital technology to enhance our offering to TGI clients.
Qualification and experience requirements
- Experience of working in a research environment is an advantage but not essential (or want to gain experience within this)
- A – C passes at A level as well as Grade B in Maths and English at GCSE.
- 2.1 class degree or above
- Ability to speak, write and read German or French is preferred.
- Highly IT literate, with particular aptitude in Excel
- Good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Proactive approach
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations
- Ability to pay attention to detail, be thorough and methodical
- Reliable and able to deliver/work to deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise a demanding workload
- Appreciation of marketing and business environment and data interpretation for commercial purposes
