Job description

Training contract to commence in September 2015. Trainees complete six four-month seats and will be based in Birmingham, Cambridge or Norwich. Trainees can temporarily move to another office to complete a seat not practised in their base office, including Leeds, London or Manchester. The firm will support the move with an accommodation allowance. Core practice areas are: corporate & commercial, disputes, employment, family, health, insurance, private wealth sectors, projects & construction and real estate. Further specialist sector teams focus on agriculture, charities, education, food & farming and real estate investment.

Person requirements

Open to penultimate year law students, final year non-law students and graduates.

You’ll have a good balance between academic ability, interpersonal skills, drafting skills, common sense, commercial awareness, confidence, professional attitude and a sense of humour. You will demonstrate a keen interest in a legal career and in Mills & Reeve.

Qualification and experience requirements

We welcome applications from both law and non-law disciplines. We expect you to have already gained or be on course for a 2:1 degree or equivalent. Legal work experience is desirable.
