Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Market Analyst in our Asset Risk function.

The role is part of our Online Pricing team. The team is responsible for the short term forecasting of values of de-fleeting vehicles that are sold back to the used car market via the Motability online sales proposition ‘mfldirect’.

For the Market Analyst position we are seeking a proactive and resourceful Economics or Statistics graduate who can rapidly develop expertise, manage and develop processes and add value to the team from an early stage. The role involves taking ownership of datasets, extracting and analysing a wide range of company and industry data and reporting trends and conclusions. This role also involves managing and improving processes that support the day to day pricing of de-fleeting vehicles. The role offers a great opportunity to apply your academic experience to this important area of the business.

Motability Operations manages the Motability Car Scheme and the Powered Wheelchair and Scooter Scheme. As operators of the Motability schemes, our activities are regulated and overseen by the charity Motability. We are the UK’s largest car leasing company, with 35 years’ experience in the industry.

Qualification and experience requirements

We are looking for candidates with a minimum 2:1 degree in Economics or Statistics. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with numbers and extracting valuable insight from large datasets. Experience of using MS Excel and Access is essential.
