The General Insurance Actuarial department provides actuarial and statistical support on a range of financial matters including reserving, pricing and financial projections.
Our award-winning training will help you develop your personal and technical skills, and we'll even support you through the examination process to gain a chartered insurance institute qualification (ACII) which on average takes three years to complete.

To begin with, you'll need a good numerical degree, 2:1 or above, with a sound mathematical background together with excellent communication skills, plenty of enthusiasm and a genuine determination to succeed. You'll also need to be computer literate with strong skills in spreadsheets and databases to macro level.
