About the Professional Trainee Scheme
Just how much can you learn in three years? How much invaluable experience can you gain in 36 months? Join our Professional Trainee Scheme and you’ll see. This year we’re looking for aspiring graduates to join our Customer Service and IT Division Schemes – and you won’t be stuck at the same desk for the whole time, don’t worry. You’ll rotate through integral departments in different areas of the business, gaining hands-on experience in a whole host of areas across the divisions. The Customer Service Scheme will include departments such as Underwriting, Claims, Regional, Life Services and Business Support. The IT Division Scheme will include placements in areas such as Business Analysis, Demand Management, Vendor Management, IT Operations, IT Development and Leadership & Management.

With a number of different and stimulating placements throughout your time with us, you’ll gain relevant exposure to key areas of the business and broaden your business awareness. As well as learning first hand about the work carried out in each area and getting involved in real work on real projects, we’ll support you and make sure you have everything you need to get on and succeed. You’ll have a full corporate induction – along with a tailored local induction programme – and we’ll be with you every step of the way as you study for a relevant professional qualification.

Person requirements

We’d like you to be degree qualified, with a genuine interest in building a career in insurance and financial services. Naturally, some relevant work experience would be great, but it’s by no means essential. More than anything, you need to have a positive attitude and plenty of drive and ambition, with a real commitment to working hard and learning fast. Professional and dedicated, you’ll be someone who’s ready to get on and make the most of this brilliant opportunity.
