Job description-

1 week to 6 month animal, child care, teaching and conservation projects available in Asia, Africa, Central and South America.

Who are we?
PoD is a leading non-profit organisation arranging ethical, inspiring and supported volunteering opportunities around the world. PoD offers a personal and professional service drawing on years of experience from staff in the UK and overseas. PoD also supports its projects through the Personal Overseas Development Charity (UK charity number 1139629).

What do we offer?
Great value 1 week – 6 month placements at volunteer projects in Belize, Cambodia, Ghana, Nepal, Peru, South Africa, Thailand and Vietnam. Volunteers can join a range of animal care, building, child care and orphanages, conservation, teaching and community development projects around the world. So whether you want to learn to dive and contribute to reef conservation on a private island in the Caribbean, work hands on with cheetahs or elephants in South Africa, help at an orphanage in Cambodia or teach on a tropical island in Thailand then PoD have the project for you!

What is our aim?
Established in 2001, our aim is to support ongoing projects by providing passionate and committed volunteers. We work with long term projects that we know personally and where there is genuine benefit to local communities. We are independent and so able to select the best volunteering projects available. We fully vet and regularly visit every project to ensure we maintain in-depth knowledge of our projects.

High level of support PoD UK team are all ex-PoD volunteers with an in depth knowledge of the countries and projects we send volunteers to and we have experienced local staff on the ground who are there to support you during your time at the project.
