Job description

We're looking for a passionate and skilled .NET Web Developer to join our MI Design & Development team in Retail Finance at The Royal Bank of Scotland Group. You'll work on our MyMI 2 platform which helps our frontline staff monitor their performance against incentive measures such as the Customer Satisfaction Index and Contribution and Development Objectives such as Quality Interactions and Understanding Customer Needs.

As a .NET Web Developer, you'll engage with internal customers to define their requirements, aiding design and keeping them fully informed of progress. You'll also project manage your own work in line with overall team activity and keep up to date with tools, techniques and applications to ensure the most relevant and effective solutions are developed.

Person requirements

To be successful as a .NET Web Developer, you'll have experience in .NET web development through your degree and coursework, and perhaps in an external project environment too. You'll also have a desire to work in a Management Information Systems (MIS) development environment on a variety of small and large scale projects, utilising both analytical and technical development skills. It's important that you have relevant experience in web page development with HTML / XHTML or CSS and programming experience in .NET and JavaScript (jQuery).
