Job description

Trident Powersports offers a unique opportunity for exceptional engineers to be involved in the design and development of a new off-road Powersports product.

Trident Powersports is a privately owned British company and the newest addition to the Bloor Group of companies, which includes Triumph Motorcycles.

We are seeking applicants for the following: Industrial Placement: Chassis

This industrial placement is ideally suited to Mechanical or Automotive students.

During the placement you will be employed as a full time Student Design Engineer in the chassis team.

You will fulfil the role of an engineer and contribute to the design and development of our vehicle.

The work is real, interesting and relevant to your studies.

You will be part of a small, very focused design team, which will give you the opportunity to learn quickly and take on final design responsibility.

The role will develop and test a broad range of skills which will include 3D CAD design work and technical drawings - full Pro/Engineer Wildfire 4 training will be provided.

The role may also include a variety of subjects such as development testing and computer simulation such as FEA.

As part of your responsibilities as a Student Design Engineer you will be required to communicate with external suppliers as well as other departments within the company such as Purchasing, Quality, Assembly and Manufacturing – developing key skills required by industry.
