Virgin Care has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join the development team to lead the design and development of whole fit for purpose written proposals in response to formal tenders and similar customer invitations, with a main effort on large contracts (in excess of £5m).
Leadership of the bidding process, including the coordination of contributions from both central and business unit stakeholders to working response drafts and the production of final submissions for designated Invitation to Tender (ITT).
Pursuit and Bid process champion, promoting and training Virgin Care and partnership staff on all aspects of core bid and related processes.
The Bid Development Manager will also have a key role in the development of the business in terms of developing business proposals and maintaining key relationships with partner organisations.
Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week flexibility as required to meet deadlines

Virgin Care is a national organisation with over 200 services across the country. We have health and social care services covering everything from dermatology to childrens’ services, prison services to primary care.
We provide community services with over 4,500 staff who serve a population of 16 million people. This includes management of eight community hospitals and 10 community wards.
We hold 19 contracts for delivery of core GP services covering a total registered patient population of 54,000.
We operate 15 urgent care services across the country, seeing more than 500,000 walk-in urgent patients per annum. This includes three nurse-led minor injury units and walk in centres.
