Environmental and agriculture consultancy ADAS UK Ltd launches its 2012 graduate recruitment programme at the end of January. 24/01/2012
In the past 24 months ADAS UK Ltd has recruited 25 new graduates through their graduate scheme to areas including: land management; GIS; modelling; sustainability; waste; agriculture; farming systems; livestock; crop physiology; soils and hydrology.
As well as well as those with agricultural qualifications ADAS UK Ltd is targeting students with biological or environmental sciences degrees.
‘Since joining the graduate scheme I have been involved in a variety of projects. The combination of formal and on the job training enables me to continuously develop my knowledge and skills whilst working with experienced and specialist colleagues,’ says ADAS UK Ltd catchment monitoring graduate, Sarah Smith.
After a technical interview candidates will progress to an assessment centre where they will be tested on communication skills, attitude and adaptability. Find out how to prepare for an assessment centre and what to expect.
The two year training and development programme then provides, through workshops and mentoring, skills relevant to the job and agricultural knowledge.
ADAS UK Ltd provides independent science-based research, consultancy and contracting services to a wide range of organisations in both the private and public sectors, throughout the UK and internationally.
