Latest news: CIPFA wins award

 

The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) National Student Forum has been given the award for Student Body of the Year at the PQ Magazine Awards 2012. 02/03/2012

The PQ Magazine Awards take place every year and recognise the some of the best achievements in the accountancy world.

The National Student Forum represents CIPFA students across the country, links all the regional student societies and arranges the national student conference. It holds active representatives throughout CIPFA including on the Board of the Regions, Members & Students Development Board and CIPFA Council.

The current chair of the CIPFA National Student Forum, Carl Ford, has been involved with the National Student Forum for three years and he accepted the reward on behalf of the forum. Carl said,

‘This reward is a great recognition of the brilliant job that the CIPFA National Student Forum does and of the service that it provides to CIPFA students around the country, it also serves as a testament to the hard work that the members of the CIPFA National Student Forum put in, all on a voluntary basis.’
