Eventcourse at Ashdown Academy, a leading events industry training provider, is launching the first Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) accredited courses, for postgraduate and diploma students looking to enter into event management. 16/08/2012

The Postgraduate Diploma in Event Management provides a deep insight into the logistics and strategy of planning successful events. The course runs for 12 weeks and is followed by a 12-week placement with one of Eventcourse's partner companies.
The Diploma in Event Management is aimed at those looking to develop their skills to begin a career in the sector. This part-time course also runs for a period of 12 weeks, but takes place in the evenings allowing individuals who are looking to switch career to do so.
Both courses are CIM accredited, which is the leading professional marketing body with 41,000 members worldwide, defining the operating standards in the UK and championing the best practice in marketing.
The events sector is worth £25billion to the UK economy and employs more than 535,000 people.
