Hotel chain Jurys Inn is recruiting for its graduate scheme, which fast tracks graduates into hospitality roles. 22/10/2012
The GROW programme opens for applications on 1 November with the aim of equipping recruits with the skills needed to take on assistant manager roles upon completion.
Graduates attend training sessions in areas such as finance and budgets, revenue management, and effective communication, and are mentored by senior level employees throughout the two-year programme.
'We expect applicants to have a hospitality-related degree and relevant work experience. As a company we are committed to creating and supporting exceptional people, and to achieving a culture that values people and their contributions to the business. The programme provides these bright talents with a structure and support to help fully develop their potential,' says Jennifer Lee, human resources director.
Last year, Jurys Inn received the only Gold Award from Investors In People for an international hotel group. It was also commended for its commitment to employees by championing internal promotion, with 90% of current Jurys Inn general managers promoted from within.
