The University of East Anglia (UEA) is offering a number of fully-funded scholarships to students hoping to study or research postgraduate degrees. 12/01/2012
UEA will fund more than 40 scholarships to study in its faculty of arts and humanities, with funding available for students looking to study creative writing, film, literature and history.
Scholarships will cover part or all course fees, and some will include a maintenance payment of £13,590 to cover living costs. You can find out more about how to fund postgraduate study in our funding further study section.
‘We are looking forward to welcoming potential postgraduate students and showing them the world-class facilities and innovative programmes that we have on offer,’ said Dr Adam Longcroft, academic director of taught programmes at UEA.
‘We offer a supportive environment, with leading academic specialists and access to exceptional research resources. I am very much looking forward to meeting the next generation of postgraduate students,’ he added.
UEA is hosting a postgraduate open day on 18 January 2012 where potential postgraduates will be able to find out more about the opportunities on offer.
Students will be able to visit academic departments, speak to lecturers and tutors and take a guided tour of the university. Advice and information on how to apply, accommodation and future job prospects will also be on the agenda.
