MSc Fashion and Textiles Management is for students who aim to develop management knowledge and processes for the fashion and textiles industry. The balance of study undertaken in the Masters project is 20% practice, 80% theory.

Entry requirements
You should hold a good (first or second class) Honours degree or its non-UK equivalent in a relevant subject from a recognised British or Overseas University. In addition work or project experience in a related company role will be taken into consideration as part of the application process. Application is through application form and portfolio where applicable as well as a personal statement demonstrating anticipated course of study.
Information for International Students
We seek to involve students in an industrial project in Semester 2 and companies may also provide support or advice for individual Masters projects. Many of our alumni and Honorary Graduates deliver guest lectures for our courses and provide a deeper insight into the global industry.
Course description

The Fashion and Textile Masters Programme challenges contemporary fashion and textiles through interdisciplinary collaborations to foster innovation and educate confident professionals with an in-depth understanding of creative processes and their management. It provides students of design, innovation and management with the knowledge, skills and competencies to meet the diverse demands of these dynamic global industries.
Staff expertise covers the full spectrum of fashion and textiles from context to management, design to manufacture, technology to creativity, practice to theory. The unrivalled facilities in the School of Textiles and Design allow students on the programme to negotiate enquiry into a specialist area.

Funding

The programme is SAAS funded and we offer a limited number of prestigious scholarships for Home, EU and Overseas students, amongst them the £2000 Colin McDowell scholarship and two £1000 Worshipful Company of Woolmen scholarships.
