Course content

This MA generally embraces a longue durée chronology approach. It offers an opportunity to study a range of topics from various places around the world, including the periods:

  • classical antiquity
  • medieval
  • early modern
  • modern
  • 21st century.

You'll be taught by staff with a wide range of interests. Their expertise includes subjects like:

  • British history
  • European history
  • Asian history
  • American history.

Information for international students

English Language Requirements: Direct Entry: IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.5 in writing, and 5.5 in all other sub-skills).
