A professional qualification in health or social care; minimum 2 years post qualifying experience; employment in a relevant agency setting.

Course description
Family therapy and systemic practice are models of intervention used by a variety of professional within Health and Social Care. The programme provides a framework for conceptualising problems and intervening at a variety of levels of the system including family, professional network, organisation and community. The course aims to familiarise students with the theories, methods and techniques associated with the major models of family therapy. Qualifying level students will attend practice placement one morning or afternoon per week where they will undertake live-supervised family therapy.
