A good UK honours degree (minimum 2.1) in a relevant discipline. An MA in a relevant discipline can also be helpful in some areas.

Course content

The historians have an excellent track record supervising both full- and part-time research students to completion. Full-time research students are required to take a module in research methods and practices for which they receive a Nottingham Trent Certificate on completion.

IELTS 6.5 required by applicants whose first language is not English.
