Entry requirements
The minimum requirement for entry is an honours degree, ideally in psychology, and the knowledge of research methods and statistics appropriate to that level. You should read the detailed advice about entry and preparation in the individual course descriptions.
Course description
Please note that this qualification is only available until 31 December 2014. In order to claim this qualification you must have completed the required 180 credits by this time. This qualification is not available to new students. The MSc in Psychological Research Methods provides training to an advanced level in a range of research methods in psychology and provides appropriate training for research at PhD level. It culminates in a dissertation module in which you consolidate your skills and knowledge obtained in previous modules by carrying out and writing up your research on an approved topic in a psychological field.
