Minimum of lower second class (2:2) honours degree, which normally has a significant content of Biological Science (e.g. Biology, Biological Sciences, Environmental Science, Animal Behaviour etc.); or substantial relevant working experience together with evidence of recent study.
Course description
This programme covers a wide-range of areas within wildlife conservation. Staff are involved in pioneering projects, including welfare assessment for conservation and the Scottish Wildcat Project, and this has helped lead the development of Wildlife Forensics as an academic subject area. Students will study Habitat Perspectives in Wildlife Conservation. In addition, the understudied area of behaviour and welfare in wildlife conservation is a focus and students have the opportunity to obtain essential Field Identification Skills.
