Entry requirements

We require a UK bachelor's degree with a Lower-Second classification or the overseas equivalent, in any discipline.

In exceptional circumstances candidates who do not have first degree, but who can demonstrate professional competence, may be admitted.

When assessing your academic record we consider your degree subject, grades you have achieved and the standing of the institution where you studied your qualification.

Course content

This course gives you the opportunity to gain a comprehensive knowledge and firm understanding of medico-legal theories without completing a full master's course.

You will follow some components of the taught component of the MA and LLM, but you will not be required to write a dissertation. If you have successfully completed the PGCert, you may be eligible to transfer to the Diploma or MA/LLM if you meet the transfer requirements and pay the additional fee.
