This route focuses your studies on exercise and health and has been developed to support new prevention and treatment regimes in the fight against major cardiovascular, metabolic and neuro-musculoskeletal disorders using exercise physiology.You will study fundamental and current issues of muscle and exercise physiology in healthcare science applications; how exercise physiology can be used in the prevention and treatment of major diseases and disorders; and molecular mechanisms for the regulation of muscle function and in neuromuscular disorders. You will develop skills and knowledge required for the clinical applications of muscle and exercise physiology.
